FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The suspect in a Fond du Lac shooting last week that left one man injured has turned herself in, officials said.
At approximately 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, 32-year-old Ansheretta A. West turned herself in to the Fond du Lac Police Department and she was taken into custody without incident. It comes just days after police issued a temporary nationwide felony warrant for West’s arrest.
West is being held at the Fond du Lac County Jail on a charge of attempted first degree intentional homicide.
The shooting occurred Saturday around 4:20 p.m. in the area of 175 Hamilton Place. A 20-year-old Fond du Lac man was shot in the leg. Police said he was in stable condition.
