KEWAUNEE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The body of a man was found after a structure fire Thursday night in the town of Franklin.
Crews were called to N1899 Manitowoc Road at 10:51 p.m. Thursday, according to Sheriff Matt Joski.
“Units from Denmark Fire, Luxemburg Fire, and Carlton Fire responded to extinguish the blaze. During those efforts the body of the owner of the property, a 57-year-old male was located within the structure,” a news release states.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The name of the victim has not been released.
