DODGE CO, WI (WTAQ-WRN) – Four teenagers are dead following a crash early Monday morning in Dodge County. Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash scene just east of Columbus at about 4:00 AM.
According to a news release, a Ford F-150 was northbound on a county road when the driver ran a stop sign and was struck by the semi at the intersection with state Highway 16. Three people in the pickup were killed – the 19-year-old driver from Sun Prairie, a 17-year-old male from Sun Prairie and a 16-year-old male from Madison. Two 18-year-old female passengers were taken to UW Hospital. One died, the other had life-threatening injuries.
The semi driver, a 57-year-old man from La Farge, was hospitalized with minor injuries.
