OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) — Oshkosh Public Works wants to hear from you.
About a year and half ago ago, the department launched an intensive information and education campaign to help the public better understand the Public Works Department and everything they do. Now, they’re seeking to measure those achievements via a survey.
The survey is only a handful of questions and takes about two minutes to complete.
Residents will be asked about which public works services they’re most familiar with, how they feel about public works services, the impact on the quality of life of those services, etc.
James Rabe, Director of Public Works for the City of Oshkosh, says sometimes it’s hard to share their work with the public.
“We grab a task, we get it done, and we move right on to the next,” said Rabe. “We don’t always talk about what we’ve accomplished, so we want to evaluate if we’re doing a better job of making people aware of everything the department does.”
Results from the survey will be used for future planning and initiatives.
