GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Former president Donald Trump’s eldest son will be coming to Green Bay for a fundraiser and rally.
Donald Trump Jr. will be in Green Bay on June 4 to fundraise and campaign for Republican Wisconsin Congressional candidate and former gas station and convenience store owner, Tony Wied.
Following the fundraiser, Trump Jr. will attend a rally at a warehouse owned by AmeriLux International in De Pere.
It would be his second time visiting AmeriLux. He spoke on behalf of his father one week before election day in 2020.
Additional details on Trump Jr.’s visit are expected to be released at a later time.
Wied is running for the 8th Congressional District, left vacant by Rep. Mike Gallagher, who announced in late March that he would resign from Congress early.
Republicans State Sen. André Jacque, of De Pere, and former state Sen. Roger Roth, of Appleton, are also in the running for the seat, as is Dr. Kristin Lyerly, the only announced Democrat in the race.
