VILLAGE OF WRIGHTSTOWN, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — One person was evaluated by medical professionals after a structure fire Sunday in the village of Wrightstown.
At approximately 11:40 p.m., the Wrightstown Fire Department and several other agencies were dispatched to the 400 block of Fair Street for a reported structure fire.
Officials say when the first unit arrived, “nothing was showing” and residents were evacuating the home.
An interior crew was sent in to investigate the cause of the initial smoke report. The cause of the smoke was determined to be due to a burnt circuit board for the furnace. Ventilation was conducted to remove any remnants of smoke.
Crews were on scene for about one hour.
One resident was checked and subsequently released by County Rescue. No other injuries were reported.
