(WTAQ-WLUK) — Applications are being accepted for the register of deeds position in Menominee County.
The selected candidate will be appointed by Gov. Tony Evers to serve the remainder of Mary Shawanokasic’s term, which ends Jan. 5, 2025.
Shawanokasic was appointed last October to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of her predecessor, Menomin Hawpetoss. Details were not provided as to why Shawanokasic is not completing her term.
