MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) – A Milwaukee restaurant is helping one of its former employees who lost her five-month-old daughter and a family friend in a stabbing incident.
The Culver’s location donated 10 percent of its sales Wednesday to Alexia Dailey and her family.
The baby’s great-grandfather tells WISN-TV the family has received tons of support from the community.
The baby, Kairii Garcia, was stabbed to death January 23rd while lying in her crib. Authorities said the baby’s father, 20-year-old Ruben Garcia, flew into a rage after Alexia said she would not get back together with him.
The woman was wounded in the attack, along with her new boyfriend.
Ruben Garcia waived a preliminary hearing on 2 felony counts of homicide and two charges of attempted homicide. A conference is scheduled for February 27th to determine how and when the case will proceed.
