MASON CITY, IA (WTAQ) – A La Crosse man has pleaded guilty to being part of a methamphetamine sales ring in Iowa.
The U.S. Attorney’s office said Wednesday that 26-year-old Ryan Schroeder pleaded guilty to a single federal charge of conspiring to distribute meth.
Authorities said he helped distribute over 500 grams of the drug in Hampton and Mason City Iowa — and in parts of Minnesota.
It took place during a three-year period which ended in December of 2014.
Schroeder remains in the custody of U.S. Marshals while he awaits his sentencing.
