GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Thursday is National Pet Day, and to celebrate, the Resch Expo has announced the dates of this year’s Green Bay Pet Expo.
The event will take place Friday, May 10 from 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Highlights include pet-related exhibitors, rescue organizations and animals of all kind. It will also feature education, entertainment and shopping.
Officials say there’s fun for the whole family, including those members with four paws and a wet nose. Throughout the weekend there will be Brown County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit demonstrations, a pet agility course, free photos, a pet fashion show and a Pet Patio, to name a few.
Furry friends are welcome to attend the event as long as their owner signs a waiver. All pets must be up to date on vaccines, healthy, able to mingle well in public and be kept on a non-retractable leash. A $2 donation is suggested for those who bring a pet, benefiting the Brown County Sheriff’s Department K9 unit.
Advance tickets are $11 for ages 13-62, $10 for seniors and military and $7 for ages 6-12. A weekend pass costs $16. Children five and younger are free. Ticket sales at the door and concessions at the Resch Expo are cashless.
Friday is Family Day, so a four-pack of tickets costs $25 and parking is free in the Lambeau Field lot.
