GREEN LAKE, WI (WTAQ) – A woman will spend three months behind bars for helping to operate a meth lab in Berlin.
On Monday, a judge also sentenced Jennie Hetchler to probation and 75 hours of community service. Hetchler was convicted of a count of manufacturing drugs.
Berlin police arrested Hetchler and Shawn Ellis after finding a meth lab at a property on Walkrush Street back in November.
According to the criminal complaint, Hetchler admitted to buying Ellis some of the ingredients to cook the drug.
Three children – ages 9, 3 and 2 – were living on the same property as the meth lab. Online court records indicate she was ordered to continue to follow conditions set by family court for contact with them.
Meantime, Ellis is facing six charges and returns to court April 14.
