FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — To address housing needs in Fond du Lac, the city is asking its residents to participate in a survey.
The results of the online survey will help better understand current and future housing needs, and identify an action plan for addressing gaps and pursuing future housing opportunities.
“We’re excited to conduct the first detailed and comprehensive housing-related study undertaken by the city,” said city manager Joe Moore. “Developing a greater understanding of the housing market within Fond du Lac will guide our residential investment and development into the future.”
Identified as a key priority through its 2040 Comprehensive Plan, the city has consulted Camoin Associates to design a study analyzing the housing stock and housing market within Fond du Lac, and develop strategies to address the current and future needs of the community. The initial steps for this process involve a survey for residents to provide their input.
“I highly encourage every resident of Fond du Lac to complete the brief survey and offer your perspective on this important community issue,” said Moore. “Every response allows the city to make informed decisions that best serve the needs of our residents.”
