OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Oshkosh Arena, which has been riddled with various issues since opening in 2017, is for sale, according to an online listing.
The listing on LoopNet says Fox Valley Pro Basketball is selling the property, but does not list a price for the 80,000 square foot facility, which accommodates 4,600 seats for concerts.
The venue is best known for being home of the NBA G-League team the Wisconsin Herd, however, it hosts various musical and sporting events.
The leasing agreement with the Herd runs until 2026 with a possible extension until 2028 and beyond, according to the listing.
The listing also states Oak View Group has an agreement to manage the facility for the next 10 years with booked events and sponsorship for $8 million projected revenue for the next year.
Fox Valley Pro Basketball filed for bankruptcy in 2019.
Oshkosh Arena was briefly shutdown last summer due to fire code violations.
The property went on the market on Mach 12.
