(WTAQ-WLUK) — It’s a sign of spring in Brown County when the trails open.
On Friday at noon, Brown County will open the Reforestation Camp mountain bike and horse trails, and the Fox River Trail horse trails.
Neshota Park horse trails remain closed at this time as staff continues to monitor trail conditions.
The Reforestation Camp located in Suamico is home to over 17 miles of mountain bike trails and well known by riders from across northeast Wisconsin as a destination site. It also features over eight miles of horseback riding trails.
And on the Fox River State Recreational Trail, six miles of the trail is open to horseback riding from Greenleaf to Man-Cal Road.
Trail Notes:
- Please be a good trail steward and remain off the trails after heavy rains.
- Purchase your trail pass before riding. All funds support your passion and allow us to continue the maintenance of the vast local trail systems.
- Failure to possess a valid pass will result in a $10 violation notice and a requirement to purchase an annual pass.
