NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A suspect is in custody, accused of stabbing another person at a Neenah bar over a card game.
Police say they were dispatched to Greene’s Pour House on W. Wisconsin Avenue just after 4:30 p.m. Saturday for a weapons complaint.
The investigation learned that two males, unknown to one another prior to meeting at Greene’s, were playing cards and began arguing about accusations of theft. One followed the other into the bathroom where the stabbing occurred.
The victim was taken to a hospital and was treated and released.
The suspect left the scene and a vehicle description was provided to officers.
The suspect was later arrested at his residence and booked into the Winnebago County Jail.
