WRIGHTSTOWN, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A shortage of school bus drivers is forcing changes to the Wrightstown Community School District’s bus routes.
First Student Bussing is eliminating the “Star Bus Route” effective Tuesday, according to a statement from District Administrator Andy Space. Students on this route will be picked up by a different bus for the remainder of the academic year.
“Due to the shortage of bus drivers, this condensing of our bus routes will impact your child’s pickup and drop off times by 5-10 minutes earlier/later than normal. WCSD is sorry for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause parents/guardians,” the statement reads.
