SHAWANO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Authorities are on the lookout for a vehicle seen traveling nearly 70 miles per hour over the speed limit in Shawano County.
According to the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy witnessed two vehicles driving at least 120 miles per hour in a 65 mile per hour zone on Highway 29 Sunday.
He was only able to pull over one of the two drivers. The deputy described the vehicle in question as a black sedan, possibly a BMW or a Lexus, with tinted windows.
“This is absolutely unacceptable to travel at these speeds,” the Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post. “If anyone was in the area or by word of mouth hears about who was driving this other vehicle, we would love to speak with them. Please do your part, drive responsibly and slow down!
