OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Oshkosh Public Museum is celebrating its 100th year with a new logo and visual identity.
The new logo represents the museum’s expanded mission, encompassing history, art, and culture.
The new logo includes two things unique to Oshkosh: the sunrise over Lake Winnebago, and the rich jewel tones the found in the Tiffany stained glass landscape window in the Sawyer Home.
People may notice the M in the logotype is brought to the forefront. “In talking with community members, we realized that our name was usually shortened to simply ‘The Museum.’ We’re embracing that identity and can’t wait for people to join us at The Museum!” said museum director Sarah Phillips.
The new brand will be rolled out throughout 2024, including the museum’s website, social media channels, and signage.
