MENASHA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Menasha bridge will be closed to traffic and pedestrians later this week.
The WisDOT says the Racine Street Bridge will be closed Thursday and Friday for minor work to reposition the bridge bearing plates and bridge shims to enhance structural stability and minimize noise levels.
The closure will start 6 a.m. Thursday and go through 5 p.m. Friday.
Navigation for boaters will be maintained.
As soon as the repositioning is complete, crews will open the bridge to traffic.
