ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A ribbon cutting ceremony held Tuesday commemorated the upcoming opening of the new Bellin Health Surgery & Specialty Center.
The 270,000-square-foot facility, located off I-41 on Waube Lane in Ashwaubenon, will be accessible to the public on March 4, offering the first phase of services to patients.
“I look at this facility and what it’s going to be able to do for health and well-being in this region — it’s really special,” said Executive Vice President and Bellin Region President Chris Woleske.
She added, “We tried to make this a one-stop-shop of sorts so that you don’t have to go to multiple places for multiple appointments, but can have most of your care and your work-up and your pre-care provided here.”
Housed on the building’s first and second floors include operating room suites, therapy, orthopedics, rheumatology, podiatry, imaging, pharmacy, home care equipment, surgery prepare, lab services and a Percy’s Perks café.
The project’s second and final phase is expected to be completed in late 2024. Additional services will include digestive health and gastroenterology, ENT, asthma and allergy, audiology and NeuroPsych, all on the third and fourth floors.
Officials said the new center will offer a number of benefits to the region, such as improved access, enhanced patient experience and comprehensive and collaborative care.
