Make it 11 in a row for the streaking St. Norbert Green Knights women’s basketball team. The defending NACC tournament champs, seeded second this year, handled Benedictine College 70-53 in the quarterfinal matchup at the Mulva Family Fitness and Sports Center Wednesday night. Spotting the visitors a quick 5-0 lead, St. Norbert took control by the end of the first quarter going up 22-13. They put away Benedictine with a 19-9 fourth quarter. Taylor Thiry hit her first 8 shots from the floor and finished with a game high 24 points. SNC is now 17-9 on the season and they’ll host third seeded Edgewood College in the NACC semifinals on Friday night in De Pere gunning for a 12th straight victory and a return to the conference championship game.
