House Fire in Chilton Leaves One Man Hospitalized, ‘Severely Burned’

CHILTON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man suffered serious injuries after a house fire Tuesday in the town of Chilton.

According to the Chilton Fire Department, multiple agencies battled the fire that took place at a residence located at N4463 County BB.

One adult male was “severely burned” and taken by ambulance to the Regional Trauma Center by Ascension Calumet, then flown to the UW Health Burn and Wound Center in Madison.

An investigation into the fire is ongoing. Officials thanked the departments that assisted at the scene of the fire and asked the public “to keep those affected by this incident in your thoughts and prayers.”
