ARCADIA, WI (WTAQ) – After a report last month that they were exploring a possible sale, Wisconsin-based Ashley Furniture Industries Inc. says it will remain in the hands of its current owners, chiefly the Wanek family.
The company says that they discussed many options, with many firms, but decided in the end that the best course of action was to continue as they are.
Chief Executive Officer Todd Wanek praised the “stable ownership, passionate employees, loyal customers, exciting products, and lots and lots of opportunity for continued growth”, in his company.
With nearly $4 billion in sales last year, Ashley Furniture describes itself as the world’s largest furniture manufacturer.
