MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) invites the public to join DNR staff members on Monday, Feb. 19, at the DNR Field Office in Peshtigo, Wisconsin, for the fourth meeting of a six-part series focused on fisheries management in northeast Wisconsin.
As part of a Spotlight Series that highlights various fisheries in Green Bay and inland waters in the northeast, this meeting will focus on trout management in Marinette and Oconto Counties. Chip Long, DNR Fisheries Biologist, will discuss trout stream classification, stocking and site-specific data to highlight trout populations throughout the area. Chip will also review several projects within his management area of Marinette and Oconto Counties.
The meeting will be held in person and via Zoom from 6 to 8 p.m.
