FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A person of interest sought in a woman’s suspicious death in Fond du Lac has been arrested.
Police say Annaka Winter Trudell, 20, was arrested Wednesday in West Bend.
She was wanted in connection with the death of 33-year-old Ashley Ann Calo of West Bend.
Calo was found “slumped over and unresponsive” in a vehicle after it crashed in the area of W. Follett Street and N. Main Street Tuesday.
Calo had a 3-year-old child inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
Police said they “cannot go into a level of investigative specifics at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation.”
Authorities did not say how Trudell is linked to Calo’s death.
