It was the best performance so far under Head Coach Doc Rivers as the Milwaukee Bucks blew past the reigning NBA Champion Denver Nuggets at Fiserv Forum Monday night 112-95. The Bucks were in control throughout, leading by 28 heading into the 4th quarter. Giannis Antetokounmpo piled up another big double-double with 36 points and 18 rebounds. Damian Lillard added 18 and Bobby Portis collected 13 points in the win. Nikola Jokic led Denver with 29 points and a dozen boards. It was the first time this season the Bucks have held back to back opponents under 100 points. Rivers has stressed defense since taking over. His first game on the bench was against the Nuggets in Denver last month when the Bucks were lit up by Jokic and Jamaal Murray. The rematch was much more impressive. Milwaukee is now 35-19 on the season, third in the east and they’ll have no time to gloat. A back to back brings the Miami Heat to Milwaukee on Tuesday night. Pre-game coverage begins at 6:30 PM with a 7:00 PM tip on WNFL.
