GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Local doctors and other health care professionals are highlighting their musical talents.
It’s for the annual ‘Doctors in Recital’ event. The event raises money for local charities.
Since 2006, ‘Doctors in Recital’ has raised more than a half-million dollars.
“For many years, a lot of us didn’t really participate too much in music, especially during our medical training, residency, and early practice,” said Dr. Franz Igler. “But as years go by, we kind of go back to the things we loved to do earlier in life. And some of the doctors that are playing are actually music majors as part of their undergraduate education.”
This year’s show is Saturday, January 27 at the Weidner Center in Green Bay.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 7 p.m.
Tickets cost $25 and are still available. You can get yours by clicking here.
