ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The hotel connected to Oneida Casino has a new name.
The Oneida Airport Hotel Corporation (OAHC) has rebranded the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center Green Bay to Oneida Hotel.
The decision is in line with dozens of tribal corporations who independently operate hotels.
The introduction of the new Oneida Hotel brand includes a new room reservation system, a new Oneida Hotel website, subtle cosmetic changes and new signage.
General manager of Oneida Hotel, Steve Ninham, says the hotel has been under the Raddison name since 1987 and when the franchise ended, the tribe decided to make the change.
“This ties in with our brand, the Oneida Casino and makes it more marketable as one entity, so really excited to get the changes going and some of some of the things we have planned and giving better service to the community and to our guests of the hotel,” he said.
The Oneida Hotel, located at 2040 Airport Drive, across from Austin Straubel International Airport, has 391 rooms and 30,000 square feet of conference space.
Ninham says the transition for guests will be seamless. All existing reservations made under the Raddison name will be honored.
