DE PERE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – By now, tens of millions of people have seen, liked or even shared this image on social media.
It’s a post from last Friday, when De Pere native Lucy Kurowski got her car stuck in a snowy parking lot during Blizzard Bennett.
She told FOX 11 she was on the phone and the next thing she knew, someone was coming over to check on her.
“I hung up, and he said, ‘You good?'” Kurowski recalled. “I was like, ‘Are you Jordan Love? Let’s get the real thing straight here, you’re Jordan Love!'”
“He was like, ‘Yeah, I am’ and shrugged his shoulders in his cute little humble way,” she continued. “And then he offered to push.”

Kurowski is still giddy about the chance encounter she had with her favorite player — an exchange that went viral online. Packers fans and social media users couldn’t get enough of this star quarterback offering Kurowski his help to get her car unstuck.
“It’s been a really, really busy weekend,” Kurowski said, laughing about how the interaction turned her life upside down overnight.
The entire encounter lasted about two minutes, and Kurowski knows it was a bigger deal to her than it was to him.
“You know, I was leaving, I was in a parking lot, and I saw her trying to back out, tires were spinning,” Love said Wednesday. “I just asked if she wanted me to help try and push real quick and see if we could get it moved. I tried, it was unsuccessful, but she said somebody was coming with a shovel to help.”
“I’m sure he hasn’t probably thought about it since it happened, but that’s okay, because I’m excited,” Kurowski said.
After they tried and failed to free her car, Love agreed to snap a selfie with Kurowski to commemorate the moment. Once it was posted it online, the image went viral.
“Some people were like, ‘Why did he push her in the snow?’ or ‘This is stupid news’,” Kurowski said. “It’s good news, it’s fun news. Like, whether you want to see it or not, it’s a good thing that happened, and people are loving it.”
As an added bonus, the interaction happened the day after Kurowski’s 20th birthday. “Oh my gosh, that was so cool… It was awesome,” Kurowski said.
And it was something she said she will never forget. Is it possible she’s an even bigger Jordan Love fan now?
“Oh, definitely! More than 100%,” Kurowksi said.
She said her favorite saying she read in the comments was, “That’s my quarterback.”
And she, along with the rest of Packers Nation, will be rooting for him this weekend in San Francisco.
