The company, which is reorganizing under Chapter 11 bankruptcy, has notified the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development of expected layoffs for stores that will close in May.
They are:
Beloit, 58 workers
Delavan, 52 workers
DePere, 48 workers
Kenosha, 52
Kimberly, 61
Marinette, 56
Monona, 56
Racine, 52
Rhinelander, 40

The store closings for May were announced after the Ashwaubenon-based chain filed for bankruptcy. Shopko had previously announced other store closings in Plover and Stevens Point, which will close in April. 40 of Shopko’s 79 stores in Wisconsin will be shuttered.
Shopko has already sold off its pharmacy business to third parties to raise cash.
The company said laid off workers can apply for openings at the remaining stores.
