OSHKOSH, WI (WSAU) — Police in Oshkosh are investigating the weekend death of a man and a woman.
The call started as a weapons violation on Saturday afternoon, but when police arrived at the south Oshkosh home they found a 26-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound and a 26-year-old woman in critical condition.
She later died at an Oshkosh hospital. No one else was injured in the incident, and police say it appears to be an isolated situation with no further danger to the public.
The identity of the victims has not been revealed, but officers say the man and the woman knew each other. There doesn’t appear to be any other suspects.
