PC: Compassionate Connections Inc.
CLINTONVILLE, WI (WTAQ) — Compassionate Connections, a Clintonville nonprofit, is giving away new clothes to kids at the Clintonville Public Library through their Free Holiday Clothing Giveaway.
The new clothes are geared towards elementary age kids; sizes 4T through 16. All of the clothing donations come from Newthreads of Hope in Wauwautosa.
“We have all these adorable children’s holiday outfits, boots and shoes, and other warm winter-wear items,” said Compassionate Connections Executive Director, Leah Wojnowiak. “Financial resources can be very limited for many families, so the thought of being able to provide their children with their holiday best as they’re getting ready for their Christmas concerts and the busy holiday season; families are overwhelmed with gratitude.”
The Free Holiday Clothing Giveaway is similar to their Back-to-School Clothing Resource; which takes place every August to give kids new clothes as the school year begins.
The Free Holiday Clothing Giveaway began on December 7 and will go through December 23, or until supplies runs out. Wojnowiak says their supply of clothing is enough for over 300 kids to benefit from the program.
There are no qualifications for the program; Those wishing to participate can visit the Clintonville Public Library during their regular business hours to make their selections.
