CALDWELL COUNTY, MO (WTAQ-WLUK) – Garland “Joey” Nelson was ordered Monday to stand trial for allegedly moving a rental truck belonging to two missing Shawano County brothers.
Nick and Justin Diemel have not been seen since going to Missouri for their cattle business in July. Police have called it a death investigation.
While human remains were found on Nelson’s farm, they have not been identified, and Nelson is not charged in their murder.
Nelson waived his preliminary hearing in court.
According to court records, Nelson is scheduled to enter a plea on October 7th.
Nelson is also charged with five counts of transporting diseased animals across state lines and endangering food supply.
