DODGEVILLE, WI (WSAU) — An Iowa County woman pulled off an undesirable double last week.
Amanda Varney of Mineral Point was arrested for two OWI’s in twenty-four hours beginning at 11:31 PM on Halloween, October 31st. Officers caught up with her after another driver reported her vehicle was driving erratically along US 18/Highway 151 southbound near Dodgeville.
Officers then pulled her over again on that same stretch of road on November 1st at 11:16 PM.
In both cases, Varney failed a standard field sobriety test and was cited for OWI.
Online court records indicate the 35-year-old Varney was also accused of an OWI in December of 2018. That case remains in process.
