STURGEON BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A longtime musician and producer from Door County has the chance to win big at the next Grammy Awards.
Hans Christian’s latest CD release Ocean Dreaming Ocean was nominated in the New Age/Ambient/Chant category. He is one of just five artists, in a pool of more than 175 entries, to receive a bid.
I am deeply appreciative of the recognition by the voting members of the Recording Academy. Ocean Dreaming Ocean is an absolute highlight in my creative career as cellist, composer, and producer… This album is timeless and I hope that listeners in years to come will enjoy the deep colors of Ocean Dreaming Ocean.
The winner will be announced during the 66th annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 4, 2024.
Christian, who is originally from Germany, moved to Door County more than two decades ago. He owns Studio 330, a recording studio in Sturgeon Bay, and teaches Audio Engineering classes at NWTC in Green Bay.
