BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Construction on WIS 172 in Brown County is now complete, on time and on budget, WisDOT says.
The $24.3 million project improved more than eight miles of WIS 172 from Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport to I-43.
Work included reconstruction of the westbound WIS 172 off-ramp to southbound I-41, resurfacing of Riverside Drive between the Green Bay Correctional Institution entrance and Lazarre Avenue, concrete repair and asphalt overlay of County GV between ramp terminals and resurfacing of the Hoffman Road Park and Ride.
Work on the project started on March 27.
Minor finishing and clean-up work may take place over the next week. This work will not cause disruptions to traffic.
