APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — You can help turn the page on the Appleton Public Library’s transformation.
Friends of Appleton Public Library announced the public launch of the Building Beyond Words Capital Campaign Thursday to raise $12 million for the renovation and transformation of the Appleton Public Library.
Work on the current library is underway as staff prepare to move operations to a second temporary space at the former Habitat ReStore at 3000 E. College Ave.
Beginning Nov. 16 and continuing for a limited time, every donation, regardless of size, will be part of a $500,000 matching challenge, thanks to the support of community philanthropist Mary Beth Nienhaus. Nienhaus is an avid reader and supporter of education, children, and fitness causes.
All donations to the campaign are fully tax-deductible.
Work on the new library is expected to be completed in 2025.
