LUXEMBURG, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Luxemburg-Casco School District is cancelling classes Friday –- the day after the state football title game and the day before deer hunting starts.
A social media post cites “the unexpectedly high volume of District staff requests for full day, time off on Friday and therefore the inability to provide adequate supervision” as the reason behind the decision.
Jan. 15 was scheduled to be an in-service day but will now have classes. A teacher in-service day will be held in May.
