MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) – Ben Carson now leads all other Republican presidential primary candidates in Wisconsin, according to the latest survey results from the Marquette University Law School Poll.
The poll shows a tight race for the GOP nomination in Wisconsin, with Ben Carson polling at 22 percent. Donald Trump and Marco Rubio are close behind, each polling at 19 percent.
Both are within the 4.2 percent margin of error for this poll.
Trump led in Marquette’s previous survey in September when he was at 20 percent and Carson at 16 percent.
On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton still leads other candidates among Wisconsin voters at 50 percent, with Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders at 41 percent.
In Wisconsin’s 2016 race for U.S. Senate, former Democratic Senator Russ Feingold continues to lead incumbent Republican Ron Johnson. The latest survey has Feingold polling at 49 percent compared to Johnson’s 38 percent.
