BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Crews will be going out one more time to survey Brown County citizens about disaster preparedness.
The county health department canceled its activities last Tuesday because of rain. Those teams will now go out from 3-6 p.m. Thursday instead.
The survey being done is a Community Assessment for Public Health Emergency Response, or CASPER, survey. Surveyors are asking 30 questions, such as how many blankets respondents have in their home, whether residents have a decent supply of drinking water stocked up or whether there is any medical equipment being used in the home that requires electricity 24/7.
The entire project was expected to include knocks on 210 randomly selected doors in 30 different areas of the county.
