GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — The Green Bay Area Public School District says a suspect is in custody after two schools received bomb threats.
Lori Blakeslee of the school district said law enforcement was contacted after Lombardi Middle School and Kennedy Elementary schools received threats.
According to a statement sent to parents:
The District had reason to believe that the threat was not credible; however, in an abundance of caution, the school was searched. Upon completion of the search, students were allowed into the building to begin the school day.
