Green Bay Metro Fire Department
GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A house fire on Green Bay’s east side Wednesday morning resulted in approximately $60,000 in damage and left two firefighters with minor injuries.
Around 7 a.m., the Green Bay Metro Fire Department was called to a single family residence at 2719 Nicolet Drive for a reported structure fire with visible smoke and flames.
Officials say they were able to control the fire within 20 minutes and successfully contained it to the original structure.
No one was inside the home at the time of the fire. Two firefighters reported “minor sprain/strain injuries” on scene.
The fire’s cause is still under investigation. Loss is valued at approximately $60,000.
