APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — To prepare for its second move to a temporary location, the Appleton Public Library will be closed for approximately seven weeks.
Earlier this week, the Appleton Public Library announced it’s moving to a new temporary location because its lease at the current Kensington Drive location is up at the end of the year.
Starting Monday, Jan. 8, the library will be operating at the former Habitat ReStore at 3000 E. College Avenue.
While staff move into the new space, the library will be closed for about seven weeks, with the last day of operation at Kensington Drive set for Tuesday, Nov. 21.
The library is expected to operate at the College Avenue location until early 2025, when construction on the new downtown Appleton Public Library is finished.
