GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Ten local breast cancer survivors and fighters have become the inaugural “Faces of Breast Cancer.”
The campaign is a collaboration between Aurora BayCare Medical Center and RP Photography.
The women recently took part in a photo shoot, complete with hair and makeup, to put a spotlight on their individual journeys.
“The photographer had this amazing way of making you feel special, and almost like you’re taking the power back of what cancer took from you,” said patient Korissa Diehl.
Their stories are being shared throughout the month of October on the RP Photography blogsite.
BayCare Clinic says interest in the campaign has been so strong, they plan to do it again next year.
