Bags of fentanyl-laced pills and crack cocaine seized during an Oct. 12, 2023, traffic stop in Fond du Lac.
FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A traffic stop in Fond du Lac resulted in the discovery of more than $32,000 worth of fentanyl-laced pills and more than two ounces of crack cocaine.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s office says a deputy pulled over the vehicle early Thursday morning on S. Main Street in Fond du Lac. During the stop, the deputy smelled marijuana and searched the vehicle.
The deputy found more than 3,200 pills — weighing about a pound — separately packed and ready for sale. Lab tests confirmed they contained fentanyl.
The crack was found in a separate baggie.
Two 29-year-old men and a 32-year-old woman, all from Green Bay, were arrested. One of the men was on parole for resisting/obstructing an officer, causing substantial bodily harm, and had warrants in Wisconsin, Iowa and Missouri.
The suspects’ names were not released.
