ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The search for a missing man on the Fox River has been suspended after officials found no evidence to indicate he went in the water.
Police say Victor Torres-Guadalupe, 21, of Green Bay, was last heard from Tuesday night. His vehicle was found in the parking lot of Pioneer Metal Finishing at 486 Globe Street, in Ashwaubenon.
Officers were called to the area of Marina Lane around 1 a.m. for reports of Torres-Guadalupe’s clothing found near the water. Relatives believe he may have gone into the water at some point earlier in the evening.
The U.S. Coast Guard and other agencies were called in to help with the search Wednesday, which ultimately progressed downriver to downtown Green Bay.
Police say there has been no further evidence to indicate that a person entered the water at this time, suspending the water search.
Torres-Guadalupe is described as 5’10” tall and weighs approximately 155 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
