MADISON, WIS. – Grand Champion of the International Junior Guernsey Show goes to the Intermediate Champion and first place Junior Two-Year-Old Cow, Hickman Valleys S Blakely, owned by Brittany Taylor, Grace Schuler, and Laylaa Schuler of Platteville, Wis. She received the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Grand Champion Junior Show Award and the $500 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Award. The Reserve Grand Champion honors went to the Senior Champion and the winning Six-Year-Old & Older Cow, Hi Guern View Asias Africa, owned by Alaina Dinderman of Orangeville, Ill.
Following Blakely as Reserve Intermediate Champion was Knapps GP VG Apie Two To Tango-ETV, exhibited by Lauryn Weisensel of Deerfield, Wis, who was the winning Senior Two-Year-Old Cow. Reserve Senior Champion was Hi Guern View Divas Designer, the winning Lifetime Production Cow, owned by Alaina, Amery & Aidan Dinderman of Orangeville, Ill.
Junior Champion of the International Junior Guernsey Show honors went to Cb Vg Jack Dont Forget Me-ETV, owned by Haley Beukema, Lauryn Weisensel, and Brynn Grewe of New Richmond, Wis. Reserve Junior Champion honors went to Rocky Hill Reputation Juliet, owned by Marah Ripley of Moravia, N.Y.
Official judge, Kevin Hartmann of Mulberry Grove, Ill., and associate judge, Ted deMent, Kenney, Ill., evaluated the 85 junior entries.
