PULASKI, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Students at Pulaski High School have been evacuated for the second time in three school days.
According to a note to parents, district officials say a threat similar to Friday’s was shared with local media. Officials checked surveillance cameras and secured the building overnight. Law enforcement officials checked the building’s perimeter and roof.
“After meeting with law enforcement, and though the threat was similar, we deemed it precautionary but necessary to evacuate the building,” the advisory to parents read. “We are awaiting a K9 explosive dog to arrive and check the building.”
Students were evacuated to the middle school gym. Parents are asked not to pick up their children so all students can remain safe and accounted for.
