GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Marcus Stokes was sentenced Friday to life in prison with no chance of parole for a murder on Green Bay’s east side.
Stokes, 37, was convicted by a jury in July for the 2020 murder of Calvin Barber.
While the life sentence was mandatory, Judge Donald Zuidmulder had the option of setting a date when Stokes could ask for parole, but declined to do so, according to a court official.
Barber was found dead in his home on Imperial Lane in March 2020.
