Kaukauna Police (WLUK)
TOWN OF BUCHANAN, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — One person is dead after a pickup truck crashed into a house early Monday morning.
Outagamie County sheriff’s officials say they were called to the W700 block of Highway Z, east of Kaukauna, around 4:30 a.m. for what was initially reported as a loud explosion. Officers arrived to find the truck had crashed into the house.
The driver was found inside the truck and unresponsive. Emergency crews cut him out of the truck and tried to save his life. He was taken to the hospital, where he died.
No one inside the house was injured. The building sustained structural damage.
The crash is still being investigated.
